Fast, Simple and Easy Ways to Lose Weight

I’m a diet fanatic and constantly wondering if there really the best way to lose weight out there.  And after doing some serious research, I learned there truly are such ways!

  • Drink water.  Make sure you drink 8 to 10 glasses of water everyday because your body needs to be hydrated always.  Besides it can help your kidney flush out toxins.   Your body will be able burn fat more effectively with sufficient water intake.   You will feel full once you start eating if you drink a glass of water 10-15 minutes before your meal.
  • Eat five meals a day.  Never skip breakfast because you will end up munching all the food in sight for the rest of the day.  This is so because, the more you eat for breakfast, the less food you want to eat at night.  You only need to eat 3 meals of right amount and 2 scrumptious yet low calorie snacks.
  • Exercise.  This is i believe the best way to lose weight. You will never lose that extra pound if you just sit there all day.  Sign up for a gym and work with weights to help you build muscles and increase your metabolism rate.  Eventually, you’ll see the fat shed off and muscle will develop in its place.
  • Use small dark-colored plates.  When eating at home, one advice is to take away huge plates you normally use and replace them with small ones.  This is so because when food falls off your plate, it’s a sign that it’s enough.  Try to get dark colored plates especially in blue shade because they say it’s a color that fights off the appetite.
  • Try to avoid red, orange and yellow in your dining area because they are the colors that increase your appetite.
  • Read the labels.  When buying foods and drinks at the supermarket, you need to analyze the nutrition label on each product. Find out what’s good for you and what isn’t. Avoid buying cookies, frozen pizzas, ice cream, sodas, among others because they won’t help you to lose weight.

  • Pay attention to the nutritional value of the products you are going to buy, is a smart thing to do.  Indeed, it pays to check the label.
  • Keep a record. It is a good idea to keep track of what you eat and evaluate your eating habits each week. Present this journal to your dietician so he or she can suggest improvement. It helps to measure yourself every morning with a meter so you know you’re improving as well.
  • Reward yourself.   You can do this at least once a week.  Look for a diet plan that best suits your body type and your lifestyle. After all, yours is really not the best way to lose weight to some people.
