Easy Ways to Lose Weight

People around the world have a common goal: to find an easy way to lose weight. In my pursuit to find answers in losing weight, I have several tips that you can try to help you lose weight fast, be healthy and happy as well.

You can try the cabbage soup diet to begin with.  This is not long-term diet but it would only last for just a week and guaranteed an easy way to lose weight.

Try to eat 5 meals a day. That means 3 main meals: breakfast, lunch and dinner and two snacks in between to help you avoid hunger pangs. You must eat breakfast because it is the most important meal of the day.  Mind the portion size while eating your meal as well.

Always drink 2 -3 liters of iced water everyday.  Many hunger pangs are just thirst pangs.  Thus, keep yourself hydrated and full by drinking plenty of water because it would help your body metabolize fat by helping the kidneys flush out wastes.

You must eat carbohydrates, protein and fat and avoid processed food.  Brown rice and potatoes are good examples of healthy carbohydrates.  Always consume unsaturated rather than saturated fats.  When consuming protein, make sure its lean protein because it is an easy way to lose weight due to its satiety factor. At least 20% of calories per day should be in the form of lean protein. It also balances out carbohydrates by stopping insulin trigger that results to low energy and sugar cravings and help maintain muscle mass which is vital to burn fat.

Most importantly, eat foods rich in fiber because it helps keep food moving through your bowels and   it would also bulk you up and makes you feel full.  An average person can lose around 10 pounds each year by doubling their fiber consumption. Thus, start your day with a high fiber cereal.

With our busy lives nowadays, it is easy to pick some junk food, thus, always make sure you have healthy food ready for a fast healthy snack.

One of the reasons why most people fail on diet and don’t lose weight fast is because they deprive themselves of things they want.  Thus, treat yourself with food you really love to eat at least once a week. Eat pizza or burger and don’t feel guilty.  Eating is one of the pleasures of life; therefore, don’t deprive yourself totally of things you really like.

Don’t starve yourself because this won’t help you and it is a wrong way to lose weight.  Crash dieting is not healthy and the weight will soon come back.
